September 1, 2011             

Program:  Community Health Foundation of Wright County – Laura Jones, Executive Director, will explain the hospice philosophy of care as we learn more about the first hospice house of Wright County being built in Buffalo.

Program:  Rediscover Downtown Annandale Fashion Show/Boutique –Downtown businesses will present a sampling of their latest fashion merchandise and accessories.

November 3, 2011

Program:  New Beginnings – Learn about this residential transitional program for single, pregnant women and their babies from Executive Director, Jody Vannett.  The comprehensive services include health and wellness, parent education, life skills, education and more.

December 1, 2011

Program:  High Tea and Fashion Show at the Wright County Historical Society Museum in Buffalo – Meet at the Museum at 10am.  We will receive a guided tour of the museum and view beautiful Christmas trees decorated by different groups at the Historical Center.  The wedding fashion show will be hosted by Pioneer Park.

Program:  Healthy Living – Chandra Knoof of Vintage Farmer, Inc. will teach us how gluten-free food and toxin-free cleaning products can help us live healthier lives.

Program:  Marge Lundeen – What I Want to be When I Grow Up – With over 30 years experience as an entertaining and inspirational speaker, Marge will brighten our day with true stories and possibly some “words of wisdom.”

Program:  Ideas for Perking Up Your Garden – It’s time to think about our gardens and this year we are lucky enough to have a Minnesota Master Gardener to present new ways to perk them up.  Come with questions and leave with great ideas.

April 5, 2012

Program:  Explore Little Falls –Bus departs Annandale at 9:30 am and return between 3 and 4 pm.  Cost is $40.00 based on 40 people attending.  We will be visiting the Charles A. Lindbergh home and museum.  Lunch and a visit to the Fishing Museum will complete our day.

Program:  Antiquing and Our Prized Possessions – Kathy and Mary Pat from Irish Cottage in Maple Lake, will share their expertise about the business of being antique dealers and knowledge on some keepsakes of our members.  If you have a special antique that you would like to have them look at, bring it to the meeting.

July 12, 2012

Program:  Trip to Old Log Theatre

We will see a comedy, the name of which will be announced early 2012. The cost for the trip will be $46.00 which includes the play, meal and transportation.   Bus departs at 10am and returns around 5pm.

August 2, 2012   

Program:  Hearts of Hope Camp and Teen Retreat – Brian and Dana Dingmann, camp volunteers, will share their camp experiences and the camp’s mission of bringing hope and healing to Minnesota’s grieving children.  This is a free weekend camp for children ages 5 – 18.
