  • 23 members present
  • Girl Scouts purchased three new tents with money given to them by the club
  • Long range program for library improvement set up
  • Flower boxes to be planted with trees and flowers
  • $200 given to library board

June 2, 1966-Fred Oberg home on Cedar Lake

  • 17 members present
  • Fire insurance on library contents increased to $2000
  • 66-67 program accepted

September 8, 1966-Mark Gilchrist home

  • 23 members present
  • Flower sales grossed $292.95
  • Mrs. Gilchrist talked about antique silver

October 6, 1966- library rooms

  • 25 members present
  • Club asked council to increase fire protection on library contents to $7138
  • Mrs. L. Simonet reviewed The Wonderful World of Books

November 1, 1966- library rooms

  • 19 members present
  • 200 Christmas wreaths orderedeach member is responsible for two
  • Mrs. Sharon Anderson, field director of Wright-Sherburne County Girl Scouts spoke on Scouting
  • Girl Scout promise presented

December 1, 1966- Luncheon at Ellis Steakhouse

  • 32 members
  • Antique and Art show discussion
  • Gifts distributed to county needy

January 5, 1967-library rooms

  • 22 members present
  • Wreath committee reported successful sale
  • Ten cent fee on new books discontinued
  • Dr. Bendix gave an informative talk on the eye, its structure and care

February 2, 1967- Dayton Barkley home

  • 30 members present
  • Bench and sign to be finished by spring
  • Mrs. Dawson was commissioned to paint a scene depicting summer flower sales
  • Tentative plans for antique and art show

March 2, 1967Library rooms

  • 25 members present
  • Auditing and nominating committee appointed
  • Club constitution read by President
  • Dr. MJ Cyriacks gave a talk on fluoridation of water
  • 47 members as of March 1, 1967
