Bonnie Gutzwiller called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. with 10 members present.  Motion MSP (Ron, Betty) to approve the secretarys minutes.  Treasurers report:  Balance to date is $4856.56.  Report filed, subject to audit.

Publicity Committee

-No report 

Librarian Report/Childrens Programming

-Sandy reported that Dawn will be done with the childrens programming in May and Nan and Tina (Library employees) will take over.  A motion MSP (Ron, Julie) to purchase a $50 gift card to Waterfront for Dawn in appreciation for her work with the program.  Sandys replacement will be Carla Asfeld and Barbs replacement is Tina.   In 2008, Annandale Library had 17 volunteers for a total of 678.5 hours. A motion MSP (Diane, Marian) to pay GRRL $30 for copies per year.   

UNFINISHED BUSINESS 

Author dinner 5/8/09

-Marian and Diane have the decorations under control.  We have about 10 to 15 tickets still available.  Sandy will serve as the hostess to see that seating goes smoothly.  Ron will borrow a PA system from the school.  Doors open at 5 p.m. 

Retirement Party 4/29/09

-Volunteers needed from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.  All details are under control. 

Business Expo  4/18/09

-Arvid and Bonnie will take care of set up.  Sign up for volunteers was passed to cover the booth from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Book sale 7/3/09

-Ron will chair this event with book sorting on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. starting June 2^nd.  Hours of the sale will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

P.O. Box

-The Improvement Club and Friends were going to rent a P.O. box to share but GRRL has decided that we may continue to use the Librarys P.O. box.
