Meeting Minutes

*Members present: Kathy Wenngatz, Elizabeth Cabalka, Ron Remington, Jill Bishop, Joan Allen (GRRL Representative)

*GRRL Advocacy Training Meeting

• GRRL Board members were asked to meet by President Kathy Wenngatz to set a date to host the GRRL Advocacy Training Meeting.

MSP (Jill, Ron) to host the GRRL Advocacy Meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at City Hall.

*Other Topics of Discussion:

• Fountain Fountain in front of Library has not been working. Kathy will check with Joe.
• Friends of the Library The next meeting is August 5, 2004.

-Elizabeth has made out a schedule for the volunteers at the library.
-The Authors event will be in May of 2005. Possible authors will be Janis Amatuzio who wrote, "Forever Ours" and Leif Enger who wrote "Peace Like A River".

• MLA Conference: - Elizabeth would like to attend, for one day, the MLA Conference in Duluth. It was decided to table the discussion to the next board meeting in August.

• Stephanie The Board would like to meet for a "Good Bye" dinner for Stephanie.
  Elizabeth will contact Stephanie to come up with some dates that will work for her.

• Book of Donors Ron asked if he should list the specific dollar amounts for In Kind Donations. After discussion, it was decided to list the item that was donated and not list the dollar amount.
