*Review of the Agenda:
MSP (Betty, Ron) to accept agenda.
*Secretarys Report:
MSP (Stephanie, Jill) to approve minutes of November meeting.
*Library Financials:
No report at this time.
*Librarians Report:
Jill reported (via
Sandy
) that the outdoor book drop is working well.
The indoor book drop needs a padded float.
Kim of Jones Library needs to be contacted.
*GRRL Report:
Joan reported that there is a Friends Meeting Friends
meeting on
2/3/04
at
7 PM
at the St. Cloud Librarythe agenda includes advocacy issues &
guidelines for new Friends groups.
Annandale
library circulation is up 25.89% since 2001 and checkout sessions are up 20%
since 2001.
*Friends of Library
Report: Stephanie will
attend the Friends Meeting Friends. A
book and cookie sale is scheduled for January 16th and 17th.
Friends would like to be represented at the Expo in April and plans a
garage sale on All City Garage Sale day, May 1.
MALF newsletter was presented.
*Old Business:
- Art
Work1) Criteria for art work to be hungno report.
2)Pinkham paintingone from city hall can be hung in the
libraryart work committee will decide which one.
3)Additional hanging systemcommittee will figure out how much
money is needed.
- TechnologyAn
additional computer for internet use is still needed.
Jill will figure out the cost.
- Goals
& Focus of Library Boardtabled until next meeting.
- Review
of Donation PolicyWe will look over the 2(Elizabeths and
Jills) suggested policies and discuss next month.
- Grant
ApplicationsSome still in the works.
Dick is still working on thempossibly MALF and Wright Hennepin.

of DonorsThis should include the entire historical list of donors
with new donors added as needed. Dick
and Ron will work on this.
- Chamber
Membership for FriendsMSP(Jill, Betty) that we appropriate funds
for Friends to join the Chamber and participate in the Expo.
- Purchase
of Friends BannerWe need to check the price of a bannerboth
paper and vinylabout 1 by 6.
