Annandale Area
Public Library
The Improvement Club's charter members opened the doors to the original
library in 1899 with 317 books. Today the library has over 14,000 books with access to
many more through its affiliation with the Great River
Regional Library. Improvement Club has continued its support of the library for over a century. The club's contributions to the library include shelving for books, interiors, and a computer to provide Internet access, plus strong support in the drive to raise funds for the new library building. The Annandale Area Public Library was moved into the new building June 7, 2003. |
