ANNANDALE IMPROVEMENT CLUB (AIC)
ANNUAL ACTIVITIES REPORT
June 2019-May 2020
Elected
Officers:
Co-presidents - Denise Froelich and Toni Boie; Vice President – Doris
Wynia;
Co-secretaries - Judy Seaberg and Jill Bishop; Treasurer - Aleta Issacson
Activities Overview:
Most meetings were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church with lunch catered
by Cottage Gourmets. Our summer plantings included our rings and gardens in
town, at the park and the new city cemetery north of Pleasant Lake. Our last
normal meeting was March, 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many events
were canceled in addition to our meetings including the Business Expo in April
where we usually have a booth and our Field Trip in June. We had no Annual
Meeting in May so the officers have kept their positions until we meet again.
Some of our activities continued despite the pandemic. Two $1000 scholarships
were presented to Annandale High School seniors and rings were filled by the
Beautification Committee with greens by the end of October.
Dues are
$25 annually. Our treasury has
$6,491.24 plus $8,204.76 in CDs.
