Susan Wehmann
Keynote Speaker
For the past seventeen years, Susan Wehmann
has been involved in the wacky world of fashion and advertising, representing
models, actors, children, and make-up artists. Her agency represents over 1000
different people. What does an agent do? Where do you find models? How do you
know if they can perform the booking?
Its a funny, challenging, and sometimes
painful business, making difficult choices with peoples expectations, hopes,
and dreams. How do you not shatter them as you service clients like Target, Best
Buy, Fingerhut, Kohls Department Store, and the Mall of America?
Our keynote speaker is a successful
businesswoman with deep family roots in Annandale. An AHS grad in 1976, Ms.
Wehmann graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1980 with a B.A. in
communications. She is a member of the Twin Cities Fashion Group International,
the Womans Club of Minneapolis, and an associate member of the Minnesota Film
Board.
