Dock Scene is one of 4 paintings commissioned by Annandale State
Bank in 1969. The bank's then president, David Dahl, is the
brother of the artist. This large painting currently hangs in the
Annandale Area Public Library.
The paintings hung in the bank on the wall behind the tellers until the bank moved to its new location in 1981. Other paintings in this series that have appeared on the Home Page of Annandale Online include St. Mark's Church and Fair Haven. |
