Artist Comments:  

While driving past this quaint old house one day, my eye was caught by the light and shadow patterns. It called to me to paint it, before all of the snow melted off the roof.  

The following spring, it called me back again when the iris were blooming, and I painted Mrs. Johnson tending her garden.  Thank you Mrs. Johnson for your beautiful garden that we all can enjoy.
