First Generation of Howard's Plumbing - 1961 to 1992

Russ Howard, a 1944 graduate of Annandale High School, started Howard's Plumbing and Heating in 1961. His wife Doris ran the business end from their home at 205 Poplar Avenue. Russ and Doris ran the business for 31 years until 1992 when he turned the business over to his son, Marvin.

Second Generation of Howard's Plumbing - 1992 to 2010

When Marv Howard took over the business he moved the office from his parents home to his own home on Pleasant Avenue. Like his father, Marv's wife also worked in the business running the office, and Karin Howard continues to run the office into the 3rd generation. In 2003 they moved the business office over to 715 Norway Drive. Marv expanded the business his father built and ran it until 2010 when he turned the business over to his son, Buck [Bret].

Third Generation of Howard's Plumbing - 2010 to Present

Now in the third generation, Buck Howard runs the business and continues to provide the same trustworthy basic heating and plumbing service his grandfather started decades ago. The business has expanded to offer central and ductless air conditioners, boilers, radiant floor heat, air duct sealing, tankless water heaters, water softeners, lake cabin start-up and winterization, and he continues to add new technology and products.
