Improvement Club At our September meeting, Chairman Elaine thanked our members who participated in the Annandale 4th of July parade honoring our club's 100th anniversary. The Club decided to not sell wreaths this year to the community but to purchase wreaths for the city's decoration. Also, due to price increases, the club will not be doing the corn shocks. October was our Old Log Theater Trip. November was our Old Red Barn Trip. December meeting noted the completion of our club's web site by member, Jill Bishop. We also were delighted to have a style show by Country Lane and Lori's Plus Store of Buffalo. Members brought mittens and hats to donate to Annandale Bendix Elementary School for students in need. January meeting we had Mark Casey speak of the Annandale Youth First and our club donated $500.00 to Youth First and also, $1000.00 to Annandale Pioneer Park for their fund drive to hire a full time director. February's meeting/program was a delightful presentation by our member, Ruth Homuth on her trip to Africa. March's program was a presentation by Belinda Jensen of KARE 11. April was our annual meeting. Our nominating committee nominated Sandy Otto for President and Elizabeth Cabalka for Vice-President and will be voted on at our June meeting. Our audit of our financial records was given and approved. The officers will meet to plan the 1999-2000 program for the club. Vice-President Barb Stoner will amend our By-Laws as stated in the minutes. Our average number of attendance for the 1998-1999 year was 32 members. We welcomed 2 new members in 1998-1999. We had one member move away. We made 4 members honorary members in 1998-1999. We have 67 members to date at the end of 1998-1999 calendar year. Respectfully submitted,
