Improvement Club

Improvement Club meetings were held at the Library, Centennial Villa,
Park Pavilion, Koinonia Retreat Center, and Shirley Paulsons.
New morning times and places, committee member fees, and catered lunches
were tried.
We had a variety of monthly interesting topics, including touring the
Becker and Buffalo Libraries, Reading with Marge Lundeen, Quilting, the
Silent Auction, India Adventure, Coffees, Massage, Interior motives and a
Get to Know You holiday hour. We
still have the April Business Meeting, the Mille Lacs Indian Museum in May, and
the June Antiques meeting on the agenda.

Funds were provided for:
Other contributions made by the Club were lunches to Centennial Villa
residents, Fall decorations in the downtown area, Christmas wreaths to downtown
merchants and Centennial Villa, also hats and mitts to Bendix Elementary.
The Club added 9 new members with 1 resignation for a total membership of
67 including honorary members Neva Peterson and Virginia Higgins.
Membership dues are $5.00 per year with all members receiving a copy of
the Club constitution and revised by-laws this year.
The Annandale Improvement Club will be celebrating its 100th
year anniversary in 1998.
