We traveled
to the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul in September and spent a day in
Stillwater touring homes and shopping (December).

Our Annual
Meeting was held in April at the library---otherwise we met at Centennial Villa.
Fund
raising projects included:
Club
members tentatively decided not to sell wreaths again next year.
We are exploring other fund raising options and ideas.
Ruths
goals this year include have a historian document our clubs events.
Also, she would like our club to support the remodeling of the Park
Pavilion. Our part of this project
would commemorate the women who have contributed their time and talents to the
Improvement Club.
A major
concern this year is the status of our library.
Funding, taxation, and other proposed changes are contributing to the
unrest and uneasiness in the branch libraries.
Beginning
with this report, all new officers will take office immediately after their
election in April--instead of in September.
We lost 1
member through death, 6 through resignations and added 2 new members.
Club membership is 56.
Respectfully
submitted
Sharon Peterson
