Meeting Recap:

o       The Arts & Culture Committee has changed our name to the Arts Committee.

o       The Arts Committee welcomes our newest member: Halarie Hartel. Halaries email address is: ladybug4@lakedale.net

o       Dawn Schaefer Stumpf has sent the final report for the grant we need from the Central Minnesota Arts Board.

o       Jerry Johnson donated $277 to the Arts Committee from his Art/Photography Sales.

Next course of business:

The 2007 Annandale Holiday Home Tour is Saturday, November 17^th from 3-7 pm.

o       Laura Hood Beckman has sent the press release and has mailed letters to the homeowners explaining the format of the tour.

o       Sherry Sweetnam and Dawn Schaefer Stumpf will be collaborating on name tags to use at future events to identify our committee members, homeowners, business owners, artists and musicians, etc.

o       Susan Hankerson will work on the catering menu. The approximate cost per person will be $10. Hors DOeurves will be served from 5:30 to 7:00.

o       Committee members are still discussing a separate tour for the homeowners.

o       Charlene Schaefer will contact Steve Bergesch to roll tour and ticket information on the electronic kiosk on Hwy 55.

o       Everyone on the committee will be working on trying to get prizes donated for our chance drawings. If you need donation Thank you forms, let me know.

o       Wendy Webb has created the posters, sent a scanned poster copy to Jill Bishop to see if she can use for the Annandale website and sent a power point presentation to Keith Jerpseth to display in the lobby kiosk of the bank. She will also work on creating the maps and brochures of the locations and getting gift cards for the homeowners.

POSTER ALERT!!! - At the meeting, people took some posters to hang at the schools and other locations. I went through town yesterday and hung all the posters I had. If anyone has any more posters and needs places to hang them, you may want to hit anywhere east of OBrothers Liquor store like Sassys, the customer lounges in the car dealerships, real estate offices, etc. The Waterfront and the new Bay Club would also be good locations. If you have posters and dont have time to hang them, please call me at #274-2745.
