MEETING NOTES
June 7, 2007


1.  Petals and Palate

2.  Concerts in the Park

         Posters have been hung up around town

         The first concert was last Friday. The Annandale Community Band performed.

         Beginning Friday June 22nd (after the Rustys Rockin Jamboree Concert), Tory Schaeffer has volunteered to D.J.from 8-10 and will provide free swing dance lessons and music requests. This event is for all ages so spread the word around. After the Jayber Crow concert on Friday July 27th, Tory will be DJing again from 8-10 but the dance lessons will be salsa style. Wendy Webb will be trying to create posters for this event. Again, this event is for all ages so bring your kids too!

3. Fairhaven Farms Dinners

         FAIRHAVEN FARM is hosting 3 dinners this summer.  YOU MUST MAKE AN ADVANCE RESERVATION.  The first dinner is "Summer Solstice" on Saturday June 23 at 6:30 p.m.  The cost is $20.  Do not miss this wonderful opportunity.  Call the farm now for reservations.  Payment must be made in advance to secure your reservation.

4. Other Business

         Laura Hood Beckman has taken Rosemary Nelsons Chair position on A.C.T.

         Wendy Webb was nominated for Chair of the Arts & Culture Committee. Motion was passed and she accepted. Laura Hood Beckman will still co-chair J

Our next Arts & Culture meeting will be Thursday June 21st at 5:00 to tie up any loose ends of the Petals and Palate Event. Well be meeting at the Snooty Fox.
