1.  Petals and Palate

• Garden letters have been sent out to garden owners with the questionnaires.
• The 6 gardens we have lined up are: Carol & Hank Balfour, Ricky and Susan Envey, Linda & Dave Stumpf, Diane & John Swanson, Jerry Johnson and Fairhaven Farms. Ardis, can you confirm that you can hostess the Swansons Garden out at Sylvia?
• We are still looking for donations from local business to use in our chance drawings at Fairhaven Farms. If you can get prizes and need donation receipts, please contact Wendy Webb (274-2745). We are working on themed chance baskets this year: Garden, Wine and Entertainment, SPA and Relaxation, so keep that in mind when asking for donations.
• Charlene Schaeffer has poster board and will start drawing posters for the gardens but we are looking for volunteers to put the posters together.
• Hostesses of the gardens need to get with the garden owners for interviews and to discuss tablescapes/centerpieces.
• Please spread the word and try to sell tickets!! Laura has them available at the Snooty Fox.

2.  Concerts in the Park

         Posters have been hung up around town

         The first concert was last Friday. The Annandale Community Band performed.

         Beginning Friday June 22^nd (after the Rustys Rockin Jamboree Concert), Tory Schaeffer has volunteered to D.J.from 8-10 and will provide free swing dance lessons and music requests. This event is for all ages so spread the word around. After the Jayber Crow concert on Friday July 27^th, Tory will be DJing again from 8-10 but the dance lessons will be salsa style. Wendy Webb will be trying to create posters for this event. Again, this event is for all ages so bring your kids too!

3. Fairhaven Farms Dinners

         FAIRHAVEN FARM is hosting 3 dinners this summer.  YOU MUST MAKE AN ADVANCE RESERVATION.  The first dinner is "Summer Solstice" on Saturday June 23 at 6:30 p.m.  The cost is $20.  Do not miss this wonderful opportunity.  Call the farm now for reservations.  Payment must be made in advance to secure your reservation.

4. Other Business

         Laura Hood Beckman has taken Rosemary Nelsons Chair position on A.C.T.

         Wendy Webb was nominated for Chair of the Arts & Culture Committee. Motion was passed and she accepted. Laura Hood Beckman will still co-chair J

Our next Arts & Culture meeting will be Thursday June 21^st at 5:00 to tie up any loose ends of the Petals and Palate Event. Well be meeting at the Snooty Fox.
