Arts and Culture
1. Raffle update: application sent to State Of Minnesota.
Tickets will be printed once the application is processed. First prize
$3,500 travel voucher. Second Prize Hand Quilted Quilt from the
Annandale Quilt Club. Third prize cash to be decided.
1,000 tickets to be sold.
2. Sneak Preview Party: Private gathering planned March
31 to view the Portable Performance Stage and celebrate its arrival.
3. Business Expo. Official unveiling of the stage for the
public.
4. Grants: Don Gadow completed and submitted a
grant request to Wright Hennipen Electric.
5. Summer Concert Series: Dawn Schaefer Stumpf is
pursuing The Annadale Community Band, Maple Lake Jazz Band, Mr. Jim- a family
entertainer, Musical Review and two other possibilities.
6. Dinner/Dance update given by Charlene Schaefer.
A volunteer group of Annandale Area citizens are planning a fundraiser event
for the stage. This group is led by Dick Anderson and Kathy Wengatz.
The event planning is going well.
Next Meeting: March 3 at 5 PM at the Snooty
