MEETING NOTES
August 26, 2004



1. Discussed Ice Cream Sale fundraiser at the Clown Show.  Many cones sold and approximately $240 brought in before expenses.  Mike Z. has the expense information and will bring that information to our meeting to determine amount raised.
 
2.  Jeff L. reported that 4 business owners have committed to sponsorship on the portable performance stage.  There is room for 12 sponsorships for business/organizations.  This process will continue.
 
3.  Jeff L. reported that the results of the meeting with Plymouth determined that the firm asking price of the Portable Performance Stage is $50,000.  The city of Plymouth is agreeable to $10,000 and payments over 3 years.  Jeff L. will be presenting information to the Annandale City Council on September 7 regarding the stage.
 
4.  Jeff L. reported that he and Mike Z. would be meeting with the Community Health Foundation on 8/30 regarding partnership of 501 3 (c) status.  This would allow Arts and Culture to write for grant dollars. 
 
5.  A brief discussion was held regarding future raffle fundraising ideas.
 
6.  September 25 is the DINNER THEATER FUNDRAISER for the Portable Performance Stage.

We must sell out the house.  Checks should be made to ACT.  Jeff Lundquist has the tickets and the seating chart.
