ARTS & CULTURE
MEETING NOTES
June 10, 2004

The following minutes are from our June meeting:
1.  Thank you to the Chamber was sent for donation and support of portable stage.
2.  Sponsorship letters were sent out to chamber members.
3.  Jeff Lundquist is working with the theater group to schedule a night that would be designated as a fundraising event for the portable stage.  We would need to sell all tickets (approx. 80) to the Mystery Dinner Theater.  We are targeting the end of September or early October.  The group encouraged Jeff to set the date with the theater group. We would earn $15 from each ticket sold.
4.  We discussed a August concert series to be held on Friday evenings at 7 pm.  Laura will contact Mark Casey.  Marilee had spoken with a couple of vocal groups.  This will be discussed at our July 15 meeting.
There is an opportunity to raise money on July 24 at the All Star Clown Show.  ARts and Culture will have an ice cream concession booth.  Please mark your calendars and help out in the booth.
5. Our next meeting will be THURSDAY JULY 15 AT 7:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church.
6.  Future meeting will be August 5 at 5:00p.m.
                                         August 19 at 5:00 p.m.
